Hello everyone!
This account has gone through a shuffle in management and I am now in charge of organizing events. I am the roleplayer for Kahti, the Trickster, and Adelaide and I am available to answer any of your questions. My aim is Kahtiihma and my Skype is brynne.clouse if you want to speak with me personally otherwise all questions can be dropped in the askbox.
The last event was quite some time ago and some questions about the next event have been asked. We apologize for the quiet on our end and hope to address some points before working towards the next event!
- Please drop suggestions for possible future events in my askbox! I would love to hear what you all have to say! Examples of current suggestions are: Sex-change, Bodyswap, Truth serum/Say-What’s-On-Your-Mind… The list could always grow longer!
- The current idea for the next event is a Love event where your character falls in love with another.
- Execution of this event will be tricky and I’d like to hear your thoughts. Please send an ask stating how you would like this event to be organized. Options are: Chose your own partner, be completely random partners, list a choice of which people you would prefer to be paired with, or some mixture of those mentioned.
- Current possible way this will work is that two lists get drawn up, those that want a specific partner on one while those that would prefer to be randomized on the other. There will be no easy way to work through this without some level of compromise and no one should get left out. This is why your thoughts and concerns would be appreciated.
- Please consider what would be best for your character development-wise and what you, the roleplayer, would have the most fun doing! Because that is what this is all about, having fun!
- If anyone has any observations left unstated from the previous event, please speak up! There was never an in depth discussion since getting everyone together seems a difficult feat. We hope to make this next event easier to handle with more time to plan beforehand. We’re still new to this and so time and length will still be in the experimental stages.
As I have mentioned many times before, please don’t be shy about communication! Askbox is preferred but I am almost always logged in on skype and aim. If there is time we would like to get an event started very soon but please let me know if a delay would be preferred!

If you’re wondering when the next event is coming
It has been postponed a bit. I apologize. The original trickster character that was facilitating these events deleted their account unfortunately, so I was at a bit of a loss as to what to do.
We do have a new trickster character in the works, and it’s shaping out to be fantastic! Until all of the details are hammered out though, the event will be postponed, but I will make a formal announcement as to what it will be tomorrow!
I will begin taking in applicants wanting to join in, and I will figure out a date for when the chaos will begin!
Thank you everyone for sticking with this. The last event was tons of fun!

And we will be extending the event until Thursday morning, July 7th!
Now what I mean is, the moment your character wakes up on the 7th (the 8th for the RPer’s that are on the eastern side of the planet) they will be back to normal!

I mean it make sense for the RP in general, why would we search out people we don't know to help us during a confusing time? Some of us have made that outreach. Lira with Kracken, Lou with Conrad, but those also make sense given the context of their powers and social circles. Why would Y!Rad contact Toni? He's never met her nor talked to her before, he doesn't know she exists. Why would JotThisDown or Alice hunt down Liria? She's having a freak out and they're not that close to be asking favours.
I guess for the next challenge maybe we can do something specific to force people to interact with those outside their normal circle. Potentially not just a power swap but a life swap, waking up in someone else's body? Or maybe the next challenge can just be a "You're stuck with this person for a full 24 hour RP period for whatever reason." Or Ha ha that one Anon question "What would you do if you were stuck in a bedroom with someone for 24 hours" pair people up and cram them into elevators or apartments and force them to both work together to get out, and either make friends or murder each other.
I guess it is kind of difficult I mean because in general people group up, it's hard to force people to mix.))This is a very good point. I really like what you’re saying here Vesper. It’s natural that people group up.

I think that’s a wonderful idea for an event and I’ll make sure to keep it in mind. It seems like a lot of fun.
Perhaps like, they have to stay within a 10 foot radius of each other at all times? Hrm… We’ll need to flesh it out a bit more, but thank you for your input. I really appreciate it!

In my own case, neither the people I was partnered with nor myself made any efforts to even talk about the changes made to our characters or try to coordinate anything which might bring them together. I haven't so much spoken a word to them IC or OOC since the event began. I am not sure if this is a flaw in the event structure or a flaw in us as RPers or both, but I just thought it was an observation that bore discussing.))I actually noticed this myself. Thank you for bringing this up and I will be sure to include this in the discussion at the end of the event to see what we can do to make this better.

It seems as if the event is doing wonderfully! A friend of mine has said that there should be a very big discussion after the event is over so we can bang out any kinks there are in the structure of this event.
I thought this was a great idea!
So please, if you have any constructive criticism, please leave it in my ask box so we can talk these things out and make this better for everyone!

I have linked everyone’s respective profiles to their names, making it easier to find and contact your partner! The event starts tomorrow morning, whenever your character chooses to realize what is happening. It will end Monday morning, July 4th, eastern standard time.
For the 3 groups that are in groups of 3, the way it is going to work is that both of the human participants will gain the one non-humans’ powers. For example, Kahti is paired with Baby Hanna and Luce Worth. Both Worth and Baby Hanna will gain her fire abilities, and Kahti will lose her powers. If you have any questions, please contact me here.

Just a Reminder!
The first event, Event: Power Swap, begins on Friday. The ability to sign up will close tomorrow and partners will be posted to give everyone time to get their thoughts together on how they want to tackle this.
We’ve had a lot of interest, which is fantastic! I can;t wait to see how this will happen. But, I would love to see more people signing up, of course!

This is a center for events that are to happen in the Hanna is Not a Boy's Name Tumblr RP.
All events are canon, but can be ignored by outside players. All events have to be volunteered for. You are not obligated to participate in an event.
Submissions for event ideas are always being taken! Please tell me your ideas, but make it so that everyone in the RP could participate. Don't confine it to only a small group of players.
When interacting with a partner, please post all things on tumblr. If say you do one line conversations with your partner, you may do it on skype and put it in one post with a read more option.
If anyone has any questions, please let me know. I will be happy to answer them.
